Here's what we were working with - beds that had gotten completely away from themselves. Weeds taking over, old mulch broken down to nothing, and the whole front of the house looking rough because of it. It's one of those things that sneaks up on you. You get busy, a season passes, and suddenly the beds that used to look great are now the first thing people notice - for the wrong reasons.

We started by clearing everything out. All the overgrowth, the dead material, the weeds packed in around the base of the shrubs. Getting the beds down to a clean slate is the part that takes real time, and it's the part that makes the difference between a mulch job that lasts and one that looks good for two weeks and then blends back into the mess.

Once the beds were cleaned out, we laid down fresh dark mulch across the whole area. The shrubs and the Japanese maple along the front really pop against it now. That's the thing about a clean mulch bed - it doesn't just look better on its own, it makes everything around it look better too. The plantings, the porch, the whole front of the house.

Fresh mulch also does real work beyond curb appeal. It holds moisture in the soil, keeps weed pressure down, and protects root systems. So it's not just cosmetic. It's one of the most cost-effective things you can do for your landscape on a regular basis. We handle everything from the initial cleanup to the install, and we can keep up with it on an ongoing basis too if you want someone to just take it off your plate entirely.
